Background
About Darion Thompson
Darion Thompson is an Atlanta-born, Amsterdam-based dancer, creative director, and community builder who has been carving out his own path in the arts since moving to the Netherlands in 2017. With a background in both commercial and theater dance, his journey has expanded into event curation, photography, and production, always with the goal of bringing creatives together. As the founder of 35Noord, he has created spaces that fuse music, movement, and culture, offering a platform for artists to grow and connect. Whether he’s on stage, behind the scenes, or shaping new projects, Darion’s work is rooted in the belief that creativity is meant to be shared. His passion lies in uplifting communities, telling stories through movement, and making sure artists feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
