About Darius Davis

As a passionate and dedicated professional with 8 years of experience in Parks and Recreation, I have had the privilege of serving the Fort Worth community for the past 8 years in both Part time and Full time positions. I am currently a Recreation Programmer and I oversee all of the Recreational Programs and Events at the Eugene McCray Community Center, as well as I oversee a diverse array of activities that serve children, seniors, and low-income families in the greater Eastside community. I am committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing inclusive, accessible, and impactful recreational opportunities. Whether it’s coordinating educational programs for my Fort Worth after school program, fitness classes, or community events, my goal is always to foster a sense of belonging, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen community connections. I bring a strong background in program management, community outreach, and collaboration, working with a wide range of individuals and organizations to ensure that every resident has access to enriching and enjoyable experiences.
