About Darlene Dotson

I am a team-oriented worker with over 15 years in interdisciplinary environments, supporting teams involved with sales, internal and external customer service and support, scheduling, and much more. The majority of my experience lies in customer support and service within an administrative setting, especially among industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Dow Chemical, Manpower, and Duro-Last Roofing. During my time working with these teams, I created organizational database solutions, contributed to company knowledge databases, and trained groups of peers in class-like settings, writing and presenting my own training material. I do what I enjoy, and I enjoy what I do. That attitude is reflected in the way I do my job, and in the energy that I bring to the workplace every day. I pride myself on supporting others in the workplace in order to ensure a team success. While I do tend to set a pace at my job and among my peers, I aim to ensure that my entire team succeeds before I worry about looking the best. Extensive years of on-the-job training in customer service and teamwork/collaboration positions have armed me with critical thinking skills that I have used as the first point of contact, handling office traffic management and prioritization. I have completed courses in Microsoft Office programs such as Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and have received extensive training on the job in programs such as Lotus Notes, SAP, iSeries, multiple Mac OS systems, and Adobe Acrobat.
