About Darlette McCormick

The measure of success at the end of the day is not what you've gained but what you've given away." This is my motto and people are my passion. Simply put, I love giving back to others. Whether it involves working in my church, my community, or through or my job as a Financial Literacy Educator, service is who I am. I've spent a good deal of time getting my education in the school of hard knocks and I've learned a thing or two along the way. Using my skills as a communicator, I've turned my personal experiences, my degree from Wake Forest University, my accreditation as a Financial Counselor, certification as a Housing Counselor or licensure in Real Estate, into tools for impacting the lives of others. Personal gain in and of itself adds no value; But the power lies in helping others realize their full potential. As the saying goes, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. I create fishermen!
