About Darma Putra

I have recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh’s Business School with an MSc in Finance, after gaining professional experience as an investment research analyst with Majoris, a leading investment management firm, and previously, as an auditor with PwC. While at Business School, I gained a Distinction for my Investment Management research project on low-risk anomalies in US and UK bond markets, which I developed while gaining further industry exposure with Baillie Gifford. I was also awarded the Edinburgh Award, granted by my Business School in recognition of my proactive commitment to excellence and professional development. Prior to my roles with Majoris Asset Management and PwC Indonesia, I had the opportunity to gain direct research experience while interning with the Indonesian Central Bank. I enjoyed deepening my understanding of commodity pricing and learning about the myriad factors that influence inflation. I have long sought exposure to the financial industry and am particularly keen on equity research and investment management. I have developed these interests beyond my formal studies and have joined the University’s Trading and Investment Club as an investment member and equity analyst. My areas of expertise include: Asset Management | Equity Research | Quantitative Research and Analysis | Valuation | Economic Research | Financial Modelling | Financial Audit | Accounting | Microsoft Excel. In addition to my interest in finance, I enjoy photography, softball, cooking, and playing the guitar.
