About Darragh Collins

I am a Data Engineering focused Technology Analyst on the Data, Analytics and AI team in BearingPoint. With a background in Financial Mathematics and Data Science with Machine Learning, I am a keen problem solver for challenging technical problems. I thrive in solving the tough challenges that others cannot solve and love learning new technologies and tools to help me do so. As a part of my Masters and bachelor’s I have developed skills in various mathematic areas such as PDEs, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Probability. In coding I have knowledge of Python (Including machine learning libraries), R, SQL, Excel (VBA), Matlab, and Java. I have covered finance at various levels and was a tutor of finance, and probability and statistics (with business focus). Recently I have been working with SQL and Data migration tools such as Snowflake, SSMS, Azure and Powershell. Alongside this I have achieved the certifications PL-900 for Power Platforms and DP-900 for Data Platforms. I am currently working on attaining the SnowPro Core certification as I develop my experience with Snowflake and other cloud computing systems.
