About Darragh Keane

I am a graduate from the University of Limerick having completed my 4th and final year of Business Studies, majoring in Economics and Finance, in May 2014. I am a hard-working and self-motivated individual with a diverse range of skills and experiences. As a result of my previous employment positions, listed below, I have been subjected to, and thrived in, dealing with a high level of customer interaction, working with small and large teams in a varying size of organizations and a diverse range of industries. I recently finished studying part-time resulting in being awarded qualified financial adviser (QFA) status. I hold a varying range of skills and qualifications which include ECDL along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access amassed through previous experience and college modules. In October 2015 I volunteered in a 3 month Junior Achievement Ireland programme taking a primary school 3rd class for one hour a week and teaching them subjects regarding their city and community. I was also selected as an ambassador for the introduction of a tablet based banking system for AIB called Oneview, training staff members and collecting feedback in the anticipation of a national roll-out. My interests are mainly that of a sporting nature, but I do also have an interest in areas such as politics, history and woodwork. I was fortunate to be a member of both senior hurling and senior cup rugby teams in my 6th year at Cistercian College and won the most improved rugby player of the year award in 2009 at the school’s annual sports awards. I continue to play sports such as tag rugby, soccer and GAA on a social level, while keeping fit and healthy is a priority of mine.
