When you need a dedicated and loyal individual with a passion for innovation, improvement, efficiency, and growing the bottom dollar while keeping internal and external customers' needs in mind - I'm your guy. Who else do you know that's dialed into a systems transformation conference call from the dentist's chair? Being at fast-growing and innovative companies where I can make in impact is exhilarating. I've worked for Gartner's (NYSE: IT) first inside sales division, where my communication skills were tested and honed continuously. Extensive training in interpersonal skills and Value Selling have benefited ever since. I spent almost 20 years at the next company I dedicated myself to, starting with earning Salesperson of the Month during my first year. Losing the top-reps raffle for a new automobile didn't deter me; I moved up through the ranks to manage large national accounts, landing a Fortune 500 customer and growing it to be one of the company's top five with over $1MM annual purchases. Using IT skills gained over the years, I eventually managed the company's first EDI integrations and led adoption of other electronic transaction methods like Ariba and ECI's e-Automate. Excitement is being tasked during an ERP migration to Oracle, right? I've managed EDI transitions, product data transformation, and collaborated on a new Oracle ATG website's design and integrations. Heavy involvement with local and overseas developers is a fun challenge I have taken on several times. When I see problems, I want to fix them. My latest chapters include two companies where I installed and managed new CRMs, new business intelligence (BI) servers, and new eCommerce websites listing 30k+ products garnering $500k+ annual sales. Growing a relationship with one of the world's largest OEMs led to direct end-user referral business with high margins, filling a large gap in the service parts ecosystem. I embrace challenges. I enjoy successes. I learn from failures and persevere. I'm not afraid to pursue the unknown or ask another question.
