About Darrell Farmer

Ex armed forces, with experience in armoured engineering I served with the Royal welsh for 4 years in an infantry regiment, this saw me travel the world undertaking exercises and training This taught me valuable transferable skills, from maths English and IT based skills, to armoured engineering qualifications, driving courses, public services qualifications and also leadership training. I’m currently working with Ganymede solutions as a team leader on an ongoing contract with reading works delivery team. I have experience in track maintenance, renewals, working in a saftey critical environment and also experience in managing a team effectively and safley. I have a good understanding and knowledge in these disciplines and would like to push myself harder and take on more demanding roles in the future. I am very open minded and keen to learn, and to also expand my skills, knowledge and experience on track. Current Competencies held PTS, TIC, ICI, OLEC1, small tools COSS/IWA, engineering supervisor.
