About Darrell Garcia

When I was young, I learned very quickly that I wanted to be in a career where I had the opportunity to help people. This concept is one that has resonated throughout my entire professional career. I have worn many hats in my career – principal, teacher, mentor, coach, guide, researcher, coordinator, manager, fundraiser, friendraiser, marketer, board member, and director. As a result, I have a unique ability to conceptually analyze and manage mutli-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges in an effort to help others succeed. Working in education has provided me the opportunity to improve student, family, alumni, and community relations and engagement with the belief that these new processes and programs will help others succeed. I appreciate the opportunity to make new professional acquaintances and am always looking for additional ways to engage and to help others succeed.
