Started Subayai Inc in 2006 and since then working in a variety of industries largely focused on commerce, banking and security (high-performance distributed computing systems/designs, secure API gateways and messaging systems, MFA, security and credit-card processing implementations). Strong industry thought-leader, communicator and group executive - establishing partnerships with industry leaders from Amazon Web Services (AWS) to Confluent Cloud (Kafka), Oracle, Mongo / Atlas and others. Author of several industry/technology white-papers. Notable projects- Designed and wrote Subayai "Vital Plane" high-availability framework. Multi-data center, active/active "no code changes" baseline. Early versions at work inside Microsoft Outlook 365 secure email solution. Latest versions leveraged by start-ups including the PrivateSpeak secure message service- Designed, wrote and hosted PrivateSpeak secure message service. - Lead designer and application-tier implementation for Digital Guardian "SiteTrust" product. Java/J2EE security filter for major online stock trading client/industry. Encrypted cookies, session hijacking prevention, rotating encryption key scheme, replay-attack prevention, injected device fingerprinting, perpetual Bloom Filter implementation and other advanced elements- Lead for team from Visa International project for Nokia in implementing 13-country payment gateway. Multiple banks, APIs, payment methods all reconciling back to an SAP Financials system, fraud management integration and more- Designed/built secure mail gateway (SMG) and Mail-Transfer-Agent (MTA) for e-share. Part of e-share secure mail solution sold on Microsoft Store.
