Background
About Darren Beck
I have a fundamental belief that all students can learn. They simply have to be given the right support and tools to do so. That may mean a complex order of efforts, but every student, every adult, can learn. I support choice in education because I do not believe any one way works for every conceivable learner. It certainly didn't for me. Learning is what it is and is rarely perfect, straight lines, or boxed up. Most of us are drawn to and driven by and simply inspired differently. Shouldn't be a problem to learn and develop that way. My hope is to leave the world better than I found it. I feel I have a responsibility to the future. It is how I pay it back to my parents and all the great teachers I have been blessed to have in my life. It doesn't hurt that I also feel the compulsion to pay it forward.
