In 2021 I moved into general compliance on BT sites, LOLER / Fire Extinguishers / Ladders etc, whilst still giving advice on some Legionella Risk matters (on the BT Contract and other CBRE ones) In 2019 I was Tupe into CBRE I was 1 of 2 Water Technical Leads for the BT Contract I now audit and check the quality of the legionella risk assessments that come in from the contractor via desktop audits as well as conducting a percentage of site audits to ensure the accuracy of the LRA reports and to ensure that the recommendation and paperwork on site are up to date. I give technical support and guidance to the Operational teams accross the UK, along with training via tool box talks and knowledge calls. In 2014 I decided to move on to BTFS part of BT I was the risk assessor for 20 postcodes of BT buildings, which is around buildings I manage my own work load and hit my monthly targets I consult with the area Facilities managers and advise them on how to stay compliant I also advise engineers on how to carry out remedial works as well as routine task. I set the written schemes for all my buildings and have to ensure that these are set and carried out via auditing my sites. In 2009 I joined B&V water treatment as a legionella risk assessor I worked on small size risk assessments from banks and offices to large full sites like boots Nottingham to Ford Basildon I also carried out water risk assessments on NHS sites from small Doctors surgeries through to large hospitals I also carried out risk assessments on cooling tower systems / process systems / water features / food industries system. I would also meet face to face with customers and advise on the report and help with understanding remedial actions. I would also advise junior staff and help bring them on, whist proof reading their reports. I enjoying doing schematic drawings and would often specialises in plant room drawings for clients. In 2002 I joined AES & began working as a legionella risk assessor as well as a water sampler & I also took part in clean & disinfections on whole systems and well as just tank cleans in 2009 I took redundancy rather than relocate to Newcastle 1990 to 2001 I worked as a Plumbing and Heating engineer from 1990 till 2001 I gained 4 City and Guilds in in these crafts at a high level 2 @ Credit level 2 @ Distinction whilst working as a heating engineer i went back to college and gained 3 A levels whislt working days
