About Darren Debacker

I recently celebrated my 11.5 year anniversary with TELUS Communications as a Customer Loyalty Specialist. I consider myself a visionary, seeking to adopt and expand my knowledge in digital skills so I can collaborate and innovate my ideas to life. I excel at de-escalating abusive customers and reversing difficult conversations. My primary focus is on churn avoidance and the promoting and selling TELUS Services & Products, building lifetime customers. I have been recognized by the organization winning multiple awards due to my high engagement level. Recently I was awarded Honorable Mention for the 2023 TELUS Social Media Influencer Award. I also was the winner of the Q4-2021 Customer First Champion (CFC). Then in 2021, I achieved a 98.75% Stretch for My Top 2 Box Call Quality, scored directly from 160 customer survey results. Several of my recorded customer call interactions are used in agent learning circles and new hire training classes. As for my hobbies, I am an accomplished Musician (Flute) and Musical Theatre Performer. I trained at MacEwan University in Jazz and Theatre Performance. I very much have found a new passion making little videos on The TikTok Platform as @mindfulnessmiles. I am also building skills on spoken voice over work, as my customers tell me I have a Radio Voice!
