About Darren Marshall

I have acquired over twenty years of experience within the natural resource management space, delivering effective research programs and feral animal management practices. In 2019, I took on the General Manager – Commercial Programs position with Southern Queensland's Landscape – a new community-owned natural resource management company. With a focus on looking after Queensland's Murray Darling catchments, I work closely with the First Nation's People, Landholders, Industry Partners, and Government Bodies to design, develop and implement suitable solutions. Currently, we are looking at the effectiveness, quality and safety of utilising HOGGONE to manage feral pig populations, as per the case study in Texas. As an industry leader, I have placed significant emphasis on stakeholder relationships, community engagement and education, driving awareness of emerging risks, projects, legislation and best practices pertaining to control measures. I enjoy looking at emerging technology and practices to manage the impacts of feral animals that are not only compliant but humane.
