About Darren Oshell

After high school, I decided to get into the hospitality industry and went to school hotel management. After three years of school, I moved out into the work force of the industry and moved from Ontario out to Alberta. I have been here ever since and after about ten years of working im hotels and restaurants, I decided to try another industry. Westjet Airlines was hiring and applied and got on with them working the ramp (ie: baggage services). I moved up from an agent to being a crew chief and then last year transferred to the procurement department (working with and doing inventory for aircraft parts). I've recently had some time off and decided to get my commercial driver's licence (class 3 with air brakes), and have been thinking about getting into the commercial driving industry. My experience driving a big vehicle is minimal but I am very dedicated to learning something new about trucks, and how delivery is a vital role in the day to day world.
