Plant Operation - To continually monitor the process and operate plant and equipment according to defined operating parameters and procedures to produce soluble coffee to required rates, yields and losses to achieve daily outputs and other KPIs. Carry out seamless hand-overs of your process/equipment, communicating key information to other Process Workers, Operators and Craft Fault Rectification To recognise machine, process and product faults and take appropriate corrective actions or report to the relevant person in a timely manner. Rework - To collect, record and recycle any spillages, discharges, blockages or rework in line with procedure, in order to minimise waste. Liaison - To accurately and timely record all required process information and test data, communicating with and assisting all relevant personnel on issues that affect the effective operation of the plant, seeking relevant assistance when this becomes necessary to maintain effective plant performance. Quality - To carry out checks in accordance with the relevant procedures at the required intervals and monitor production to ensure the product is of a good quality and meets the defined operating standards. Health and Safety - To work safely and maintain a safe and healthy working environment adhering to the responsibilities detailed in the Hayes Site Safety Manual so as to ensure the safety of all site personnel and guard against potential material loss to the organisation. Hygiene - To maintain the cleanliness of the plant, environment and self in order to meet food hygiene standards and procedure. Operating Skills - Maintenance of own technical and operational skills to allow optimal operation of plant and familiarising, coaching and informal training of others to ensure the skills of the department personnel are optimised. Typically an operator should have a minimum of 4 operating skills. Use organised approaches, including Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and techniques to actively identify problems and issues within the Zone/Department/Factory etc. The use of task competent basic maintenance, mechanical tasks, lubrication, FLT battery top up and changing Work, individually or as a member of a team, to resolve these
