About Darren Stuart

I have 19 years of experience in the field and in training at PG & E in both the gas and electric departments. I started my career in San Jose and Cupertino. I have worked on and been a part of the vast new building and construction of gas and electric facilities. During my apprenticeship I learned and became certified at electrical circuits, electrical theory and principals related to transformers, troubleshooting and electric metering. I completed a 3 years apprenticeship and journeyed out as an electric meter technician. My strength is in having a lot of experience safely dealing with the public, and with the maintenance, testing, install, repair and inspections of transformers and metering. I work on hot 480volt services, 12kv and up ct/pt equipment. Previously I was a gas service technician for 10 years working on up to 2 pounds of pressure. Safety is my highest priority and a daily practice. I work on and around 480volt rated services so I practice safety everyday. I have an exemplary safety record here at PG & E over my career and I have been the safety lead for our yard for many years. I am well trained by my employer and experienced at maintaining and troubleshooting electrical metering, gas metering, transformers, and distribution of electricity. I am familiar with euserc and green book specifications for our facilities as well. I am seeking employment in the vicinity of new braunfels texas.
