From farming to finance I've always had a passion for problem solving. Over the past 20 years I've worn many hats in the technology industry holding leadership roles at International Road Dynamics, Intercontinental Exchange, Bakkt and now with BlockFi. I've been trusted with numerous engineering initiatives in cybersecurity, development, infrastructure, operations, and data. I am a proven leader who has a strong track record of building engineering teams who are able to deliver the team's mission across the organization. I'm a humble leader who listens to my teams to determine the right direction and help achieve consensus. My mission is to increase developer velocity to deliver products faster, safer, and more resilient while keeping costs at a minimum. A part of that mission is building a robust incident response process to ensure problems are identified and resolved as quickly as possible. Most recently I led my team in reducing overall operating costs for our platforms. We were able to reduce complexity within systems, right-size resources and migrate systems cutting costs by over 50% saving millions of dollars in operational costs annually. Additionally I was able to create a better service on-boarding experience for our developers in order to decrease time to market from weeks into hours.
