About Darren Twiss

I have been in the Commercial vehicle industry for over 30yrs starting as an HGV apprentice at 16 in a small haulage company, where I completed my 5yr apprentiship. i move to work for an Iveco dealer in manchester. There i was sent on all the relevant commercial and car training courses to Iveco and Ford, i also competed in the Iveco service challanges winning through to the finals twice i also competed in the Iveco top technician of the year. I them moved to another Iveco dealer in Warrington for 12 months as foreman and then took a job working for Fraikin Truck Hire helping to start a new depot in Warrington, i started as foreman then moved up to Workshop Manager and was at Fraikin for 15yrs. I moved then over to the Commercial Body side and was Bodyshop Manager at a small bodyshop in Widnes, here i was hands on and learned the skills required for body and paint and also helped develop new clients including Royal Mail, Eddie Stobart and DHL. I was then approched to work at Wyke Commercial Services as Business Development Manager, I was at Wykes for 4yrs taking on several rolls including Network Manager for Wyke Fleet Solutions. I am now Bodyshop Manager at Swinton Commercials
