About Darrion Plump

I am a Transportation Maintenance specialist at Leon County Government, where I help to keep the county of Tallahassee pothole free, cost effective, environmentally sensitive, and aesthetically pleasing. I have a degree in Sports Medicine Residency Program from Keiser University, where I learned how to apply scientific principles and techniques to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports injuries and optimize athletic performance. In my current role, I use my Python and Blockchain skills to develop and implement innovative solutions for the transportation, maintenance, stormwater, right-of-way, and mosquito control infrastructure. I am passionate about improving the safety and convenience of the public, as well as the sustainability and efficiency of the services. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team, where I can contribute to the organization's goals and vision, and learn from the best practices and experiences of others.
