About Darryl Barnes

A servant-leader dedicated to the personal and professional growth of individuals using proven leadership principles, best leadership practices, and personal leadership experience. I’m a strong believer that human capital is the greatest asset of any organization, and I’ve made it my professional life’s mission to create positive work environments conducive for the growth of my team and others. I’m relentless in pursuing the best version of myself through self-discovery, education, and change. In addition, I am a lifelong learner who has amassed thousands of hours of formal and informal training, acquired multiple higher-education degrees, and has earned North Carolina’s highest distinction in my current career as a law enforcement officer. My scholastic career consists of being a graduate of Belmont Abbey College where I majored in Business Management, and minored in Accounting, while earning the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. I’m also a graduate of Gaston Community College, where I was awarded two degrees (Business Administration & Arts), and graduated with honors. It’s worth noting that I currently hold North Carolina public office as a notary public, and volunteer my services to the Gaston County Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, where I assist in providing Christmas gifts to needy families.
