Who is Darryl Pater? I am a Program Manager with 15 Years experience in the Construction industry and 10 Years of experience managing complex infrastructure and telecommunications projects, valuing a combined annual revenue of over $100 Million in the course of my career. This experience has been acquired with key players in the Canadian market including Aecon Group Inc, PNR Railworks, Black & McDonald Ltd. and Telecon Inc. As a strategic thinker, I am able to set clear visions, define goals and implement the necessary roadmaps to ensure success in reaching those goals. My excellent communication skills has allowed me to build consensus and drive results with stakeholders and teams. My strongest asset to an organization is my technical proficiency and ability to quickly assimilate information combined with my strong project management experience. This combination has allowed me to seamlessly and successfully change construction sectors on several occasions, running projects covering everything from Traffic Signals and High Mast Lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Railway Track and Signals, Municipal Water and Waste Water Systems, and now Fiber Optic Networks. Within these projects I have a proven track record of efficiently managing planning, budgeting, and risk management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maximizing profitability. I am an adaptable leader, able to pivot and adjust plans as needed in response to changes and roadblocks.
