About Darryl Williams

My biggest strength as a manager is nurturing people in their roles and talent development. This allows me to see skills and abilities that my team members don't realise they have. This comes from my training and development background where I have gained the most satisfaction from seeing people discover and hone skills. I have developed individuals and teams through fostering enthusiasm and confidence, making their work fulfilling and enjoyable. By guiding them through their journey toward goals and supporting through realistic but stretching goals I have witnessed people creating bright futures through discovery of aptitude and proficiency. I have achieved this by creating an open and collaborative environment and through compassionate coaching and mentoring. I have witnessed people under my guardianship thrive and succeed. This motivates individuals and teams which has been the key to my success working in the construction and associated sectors as both a strategic and Operations Manager, Process improvement, business development and change is more achievable through effective setting and achievement of goals/ KPIs for company growth and success. Creating effective and caring people and teams makes business systems improvement and performance management second nature. Crucial to this is sound business financial management and resource efficiency. These are skills I have developed through my experience since becoming programme manager.
