I have 15+ years experience producing 2D drawings and 3D models on various platforms from AutoCAD to Revit to Navisworks. I currently work with Autodesk 2020 suite specializing in RevitMEP and Navisworks Manage. Though I am most commonly tasked with creating efficient electrical systems,(as detailed in construction documents to ensure trade standards are met), I am versed with all aspects of BIM coordination from job kick-off to final creation of construction documents. This includes job setup, electical equipment and device layout, modeling of electrical systems, rack and seismic implementation, Trimble, prefab schedule extraction, and creation of clean construction documents. In conjunction, I am proficient at using Navisworks to assist with my BIM modeling efforts. This includes compiling and maintaining current model files, running clash tests, visually clashing electrical systems against other trades, creating comprhensive coordination models for the field, managing viewpoints, and archiving progress models. I am confident using and integrating traditional programs,(such as Bluebeam, Excel, and Zoom), to effectively communicate with team members and clients. I use all tools at my disposal to rectify potentially problematic issues that may arise or attempt to find solutions to eliminate existing issues. I am a very organized individual who understands the importance of file management, standards and procedures, and best practices with regards to various disciplines. I assess each project I undertake with a functional analysis to determine the best way to complete my goal by combining my technical and creative skill sets. While I cam work independently with little supervision, I also thrive in group settings. I understand the importance of how my duties fit with the rest of the team to achieve a goal. I am proactive with these duties and often seeks ways to enhance my and my teams’ performance to improve the BIM coordination effort. Not only am I highly motivated and enthusiastic with a stellar work ethic, but I am accustomed to using my excellent verbal and written communication skills to rectify problems that present themselves on a daily basis. I am very confident with my abilities and am always eager to acquire more skills. Not only am I a team player but I also possess persuasive and accommodating leadership qualities that allow myself and others around me to excel in whatever task is at hand.
