About Darshan Saraff

As a University of Waterloo alumni and designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a foundation in assurance and financial reporting, I am currently working as a Senior Financial Analyst at Starlight Investments, a leading global real estate investment and asset management firm. Through my professional practice and education, I have developed an interest and experience in evaluating financial performance, processes, internal controls and complex accounting issues. With this interest as a driver, I have and continue to leverage my educational and assurance background to drive efficiency, accurate information, and deliver value-added insights. Aside from work, I have a strong passion for leadership, organizational projects and community development and enjoy spending my free time helping push initiatives and events across the finish line. I welcome to opportunity to connect with aspiring students who are navigating their academic and experiential learning paths, as well as professionals in and around the accounting, finance and investment space, from whom I continuously seek to grow and learn.
