About Darwin Price

Darwin Prince Jr. is a business builder and currently runs a security firm known as Price Protection. His focus is to help alleviate the pain points of clients through his expertise and service offering. Darwin believes that by removing burdens from clients, his clients can concentrate on other aspects of the business. Security came to mind for Darwin as he saw a massive opportunity to provide on-demand security services, both armed and unarmed. It’s aligned with his passion and goals to be an entrepreneur and successful business owner. This can be traced back to his earlier days in university, where he was a successful student and athlete in track and field, which required immense discipline and dedication. That type of discipline is conveyed in his current endeavors. His passion for security came from when he was a security guard at one of the major trauma centers in St. Louis, Missouri. Here, he had to learn the pressures of a truly intense environment while balancing them with his daily responsibilities. This experience helped show him how many moving parts there were and how having a dedicated third party handle such tasks is better than an already overworked hospital also managing its security systems and platforms. Darwin has been in the security industry for six years, with three years running his own business. He attended Grambling State University, earning his Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. While earning his degree, he was the SWAC MVP 7 times as well for track and field. He also received his MBA from LSU Shreveport, where he was part of the Alpha Phi Alpha society. When he isn't focused on growing and expanding his business, Darwin spends his time with his wife, Jhoanna, and three children, Malachai, Kamorah, and Kiley. He's a family man when time allows and also has two dogs, Vegas and Ace. Other activities he likes to do during his downtime are to meet those who can help to inspire and motivate him.
