About Daryl Abbs

Managing Partner at Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. with over 10 years of public sector experience. I advanced quickly from Analyst after joining Watson in 2015. I support my clients primarily in the areas of municipal finance, development charges, water, wastewater, and stormwater rate studies, fiscal impact assessments, and service delivery reviews. My background has equipped me with a strong acumen in municipal finance, statistical analysis and forecasting techniques. Through my previous experience as a Junior Analyst for the Labour Market and Socioeconomic Information Directorate branch of Service Canada, I developed my analytical, forecasting, and writing skills. I also obtained knowledge from the municipal realm after completing two graduate-level co-op terms with the City of St. Catharines. I hold a Master of Business Economics degree from Brock University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McMaster University, and a Professional Land Economist designation from the Association of Ontario Land Economists.
