About Daryl Angier

After 20 years working in a number of communications roles—including editing a variety of trade and specialty publications, serving as media relations manager for an insurance company, and providing communications consulting for various clients on a freelance basis—I have decided to leave communications work behind and apply my skills to a new career path. Beginning April 2023, I am diving all the way into the property & casualty insurance industry, learning the fundamentals of helping clients manage their insurance and risk management needs. Previously: Six years of experience as a communications consultant for clients in industries ranging from financial services to manufacturing. Ten years of experience in editorial for business-to-business and specialty magazines, including editing daily news websites, writing and editing feature articles, and crafting compelling agendas for industry conferences. Three years of experience managing communications for Canadian operations of an international insurance company, including internal messaging for employees and managing media relations to promote the company's brand in the business community through effective earned media opportunities.
