As the Founder and CEO of InPower Academy CIC since 2012, my journey has been driven by a commitment to leveraging martial arts as a transformative tool for young people in communities impacted by crime. Based in Wolverhampton, UK With a deep-rooted belief in the values and philosophy of martial arts, our approach goes beyond physical training. We aim to instill resilience, discipline, and a sense of community in our young participants, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Our mission extends to breaking cycles of crime and creating a positive impact on the lives we touch, one student at a time. My journey into social entrepreneurship was fuelled by a passion for martial arts and a recognition of its potential as a vehicle for social change. This venture has not only allowed me to merge my personal interests in martial arts and community empowerment into my professional life but also to advocate for the transformative power of combining physical well-being with mental and emotional growth. Through InPower Academy, we've created a space where young individuals can learn, grow, and thrive, supported by a community that believes in their potential. As we move forward, my vision is to continue expanding our reach, improving resilience and empowerment in more communities, and sharing the life-changing benefits of martial arts philosophy with future generations.
