About Daryl Christensen

Daryl has a demonstrated history of working in construction, business agriculture and government. He is skilled in Land Development, Nonprofit Organizations, Grassroots Lobbying, Sales, and Business Development. Daryl is a strong speaker. He is able to assess situations quickly and knows who to bring to the table to get things accomplished. Daryl's first venture in development was as a real estate owner/broker in Harlan, Iowa. After successfully owning his own business for 13 years and leading 9 agents in the real estate business, he was recruited by American Baptist Homes of the Midwest. During his tenure there he was charged with the acquisition of existing property for redevelopment and land for new development in 11 US states for what was then a new concept in health care providing continuum care within the same community or campus. The "star ship" of his management is Trail Ridge in Sioux Falls, SD which continues to operate successfully today. Daryl continued in the building industry as VP of Prairie Risings Construction. He became active in the industry professionally as he served locally as VP and President of the Sioux Empire Home Builders Association and at the state level as VP and President of the State Home Builders Association. He continues to be active with HBASE as a member serving on the Legislative Committee for the home builders of South Dakota. When Daryl was recruited to VP of Reaves Buildings, he was charged with growing a small division of Component Manufacturing into a major player in the ag/business market. Under his direction the company grew from just over 7 figures in annual revenue to multiple 8 figures. At the finish of Daryl's tenure, Reaves Buildings boasted full-time sales managers in 4 upper Midwestern states and many national contacts. Daryl was since recruited by Fireplace Professionals, Inc. to lead and grow a very successful network of dealers in the fireplace industry spanning 5 upper midwestern states.
