Daryl is a Certified Government Contractor,(CGC), Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Department of Defense,(DoD) Certified Instructor. He has many years of experience as a Contract Specialist (1102) and was a former tier 5 Consultant and Trainer with one of the top organizations providing Systems Integration, IT and Contract Specialist Support Services to the Federal Government. Daryl is a leading authority in the integration and automation of contracting systems and an expert in workflow analysis and logistics consulting. One of the few experts in the Washington, D.C. Metro area as an e-Commerce Consultant and Contract Specialist (1102) a rare combination in the Federal Government Contracting space. Daryl was awarded the coveted Certified Government Contractors designation, after completing the rigorous study of coursework in the areas of commercial and federal contract laws and procedures. He possesses extensive experience in design, implementation and measurement of business processes, quality assurance and training programs, supporting acquisition departments throughout the Federal Government sector. Daryl is also a leading advocate for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of Elite SDVOB Network, a national advocate for SDVOSB’s. Daryl has made several appearances on Capitol Hill before numerous Veterans’ Committees in an effort to fight for the rights of SDVOSB’s. Daryl is also very active and maintains memberships in several other organizations, including: the National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA), the National Contract Management Association, National Association of Government Contractors (NAGC), Professional Service Council, American Legions, American Small Business League and the National Small Business Association.
