About Daryl Hui

Open-minded and self-managing individual, equipped with quick adaptability. Open to feedback to further improve, easy to be around and work with. A good motivator for the team and an active listener. During my internship at Sembcorp Solar, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the solar energy industry, contributing to key projects such as the Tengah Reservoir Solar Farm and the Sembcorp Solar & DBS collaboration. My role involved solar panel site surveys, system design, and leveraging software like PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and SketchUp for project planning and optimization. Despite the shift to remote work due to COVID-19, I quickly adapted and remained proactive, collaborating across Engineering, Business Development, Procurement, and Operations teams. My ability to take initiative and work with diverse teams strengthened my technical expertise and problem-solving skills. My time at Singapore Institute of Technology has provided me with different skill sets, from understanding design thinking to software proficiency in the wide array of software available for the built environment sector. I am passionate about sustainable solutions and always eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects in the sustainable built environment sector.
