I am a senior scientific editor with more than 7.5 years of experience at multiple journals. I strive to guide interesting research through peer review and to help find a home for research, having helped hundreds of papers to successful publication. I’ve always been fascinated by how different fields of science approach problems – and find solutions – in a variety of ways. I get to see this in action every day, as I handle manuscript submissions on a wide range of topics in the diverse field of cell biology, ranging from biochemistry to morphogenesis, from biophysics to proteostasis, and more! Where will biology of the cell go next, and what approaches will scientists take? Outside of work, I am also passionate about exercise (for health, and I love the trackable, metrics-driven science in action), caring for my growing plants collection (developmental biology and science as art), and cooking (optimizable protocols and edible science!). I am also dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms, which underpins all I do.
