About Daryl Raggatt

I established my career in senior management roles in insurance, superannuation and transport before founding Enterprise Finance Australia Pty Ltd 'EFA' in 1978. EFA is a totally independent financial asset management organisation based in South Melbourne and offers customised services to clients located throughout Australia and New Zealand. I am a founding member of the Australian Asset Finance Association 'AAFA'(now known as the Commercial Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia 'CAFBA', where I served 3 years as President, 12 years on the Committee and continue to be an active member. During my term as President I was instrumental in the Association being admitted to the peak industry body AELA (Australian Equipment Lessors Association) and was responsible for the introduction of an industry Code of Ethics. As a Committee Member I was a key driver in the establishment of the Asset Finance Diploma course conducted at Swinburne University. I also instigated the 'Financier of the Year' Award. I am also a former lecturer in asset finance at Melbourne University and Swinburne University. Currently, as General Manager of EFA, I concentrate on overall new business development, mentoring upcoming asset finance personnel and servicing EFA's major clients.
