I am Senior Legal Counsel at Zurich International Life, driven by a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to finding practical solutions for complex legal challenges. For me, the legal profession is all about bringing clarity, closure, and confidence where it matters most.My career began in South Africa, where I completed both my Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees, and honed my skills at Joubert Galpin Searle in Port Elizabeth. I then joined ENSafrica—the largest law firm in Africa—working in the Employment Law Department and gaining valuable experience advising a range of corporate clients.Eager to embrace new challenges and grow professionally, I relocated to the Isle of Man in 2019 to join DQ Advocates in their Corporate Commercial Department. There, I broadened my expertise in banking and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.In 2022, I made the move to in-house legal counsel at Zurich International Life, where I enjoy working with a dynamic and supportive team known for its flexible, collaborative culture. I thrive on variety and value the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing growth and success.I believe that stepping outside your comfort zone is the key to personal and professional growth. Each chapter of my career has been shaped by this mindset, and I look forward to continuing to solve challenges and embracing change.
