About Dasha Bindler
I live in The Woodlands, Texas now, but I was born in The Czech Republic, studied at the University of Munich, and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BA in Humanities and a teaching certificate from the state of Texas. I also earned a Master's of Science in Management degree from American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Besides living in the Czech Republic, Germany, and several states in the U.S, I also lived in Costa Rica and Trinidad for several years. All this moving around has afforded me the opportunity to learn to enjoy many different foods, music, customs, and most of all people! Upon my return to the United States, I became involved with helping my son with the college application process, which led to a job as a college guidance counselor with Kaplan College Preparatory School in Florida, and to my present job as Academy counselor with Laurel Springs School. I have been working with students attending virtual high schools for the past fourteen years.
