About Dashana Etienne

My philosophy towards work has always been to work smarter not harder. I say this because with any job or career path one chooses to take it requires dedication, hard work, and good work ethic. As humans we all make mistakes but when we put in the effort to truly getting it right the first time, we see results and the saying “working smarter not harder” comes into play. Work is important to me because I believe in results and solutions. I am a problem solver at the end of the day I don’t believe in a looking at certain situations and deeming it to be the end of the world. I am leader hence why I work best alone but, I am multifaced to where working in or with a group doesn’t faze me. I believe that some of my best works have come from working alone but, the results you can get when working with a team that has the same goal and drive as you can make the work dynamic invincible. I am someone who truly believes knowledge is power and the biggest disservice one can do for themselves is believing that can’t learn from others no matter their rank or position. Mistakes are made so we can learn from them, and I am someone that doesn’t mind making minor mistakes so there won’t be any in the future. As I acquire new skills and experiences from interning, working, and networking the businesswoman I am becoming is unstoppable.
