About Datasha Carlock

I received my Bachelors of Science in Interior Design with minors in Construction Technology, Graphic Design, and Spanish from Pittsburg State University in May 2022. After graduating, I worked as a designer for a Steelcase commercial furniture dealer. In my year there, I utilized Configura CET, AutoCAD, and other software to produce furniture/component plans, panel and installation drawings, and budget quotes. Currently I am a Project Manager for a Haworth furniture dealer utilizing my previous CET and Software experience, while expanding my knowledge about discounting, contracts, and quoting. In my free time I enjoy doing creative activities such as painting, drawing, and crafts. My passion for creativity and problem solving was the spark to my degree choice and plays a big part in my love for design. My favorite part about contract furniture is the challenge of designing functional yet beautiful spaces that fit the end users’ needs. I enjoy every stage of the design process and seeing how the space develops and evolves.
