I am a third-year undergraduate at the University of Toronto, double-majoring in Forest Conservation Science and Biodiversity & Conservation Biology, as well as a Sustainability Scholar. My academic focus encompasses biology, ecology, and environmental challenges, inspired by my connection to British Columbia's temperate rainforests. As a Forest Modelling Research Assistant, I am dedicated to advancing strategic forest modeling initiatives within Ontario. My work focuses on developing a detailed database of forest management metrics to support long-term research goals. Collaborating closely with a talented team of faculty and peers, I apply both quantitative and qualitative insights to contribute insights that inform sustainable forestry practices. My personal life significantly influences my academic and professional pursuits. Growing up in North Vancouver, BC, I am dedicated to conserving its unique natural landscapes. As an avid hockey player, I have developed teamwork, hard work, and leadership skills, which I apply professionally and personally. My passions for hiking and backpacking have honed my navigation and survival skills, further fueling my commitment to forest conservation and biology.
