QA Director with over 12 years of experience in the mobile device field, including PDA's, mobile phones and most recently tablets and e-readers. I've helped build and lead QA teams that delivered: Barnes & Noble's award-winning NOOK on the following platforms- NOOK devices, including Original NOOK, NOOKColor, NOOKTablet, NOOK SimpleTouch, and SimpleTouch with GlowLight, NOOK HD and HD+, and most recently NOOK Glowlight - NOOK for iOS - NOOK for Android - NOOK for Windows8 - NOOK for Web - International NOOK device expansion to the UK - International NOOK app for Windows 8 and 8.1 to many European countries. As a Director and Manager, I have- Built teams from 10-35 contributors, ranging from individuals to component and projects leads, through managers, as well as whitebox teams- Held QA teams to high quality bars while also meeting deadlines - Innovated the test process by doing more with less - Reviewed and planned 3-5 updates per device lifetime - Maintained entire product software life cycle, was point for cloud-related issues, and worked with the EFFA and Customer Service teams to ensure quality going forward. As an individual contributor and project lead, I worked at many projects at Palm on different platforms- Palm Prē, based on WebOS - Palm's Treo750, 800 and 850, based on Windows 6.1, all EFIGSBP - Various PalmOS PDA's, including the m515, i705, Zire and Tungsten lines.
