I was at a luncheon recently and everyone around the table was introducing themselves and well I knew everyone very well, so what was I going to say? What some might not have known is that I have been working in Wealth Management for the past 27 years. It dawned on me that I cannot be that ahh mature! HA but the truth doesn't lie. Reflecting momentarily for that split second it hit me that the thing I like the most is the people. The people at that table but just as important the hundreds of colleagues and clients I've had the opportunity to work with. My job has always been, how to get the most from each of them, what will connect with them and what won't. It's a never ending learning curve. Helping them to sort out client issues or working on the latest contract that will grow the business are all exciting things, however, none more exciting than seeing someone do their best and succeeding. I follow all of my colleagues and ex-colleagues on Linkedin and I'm never prouder than to see great people move up the ladder and become even more successful. At NBIN we provide trade execution, clearing and custody services to independent Portfolio Management firms and carrying broker services for IIROC Independent Broker Dealers. What’s best though is working with our staff and clients to find solutions to tough issues that allow our clients to thrive with the peace of mind that we are there for them.
