Prior to Middleby, Baker was Asst Treasurer, Director of Taxes and Treasury Functions, and General Accounting Manager for Materials Sciences Corporation (NYSE), a manufacturer of specialty coated material. Previously, he served as Asst Controller for Armanetti, Inc. and Auditor at both Ernst & Whinney and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. Baker holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul and a BBA in Accounting from Notre Dame. He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society. Baker specializes in financial leadership and M&A support for private and public companies in the manufacturing, fabrication and logistics industries.
