About Dave Bismack
I worked for my family's packaged ice company from 1996 until 2005 when we were aquired by Arctic Glacier Ice. I have been an employee of Arctic Glacier Ice since 2005 with roles as a Driver (2005 - 2008), Distribution Manager (2009 - 2016), and Senior Distribution Manager (2017-2020). This has given me experience in DSD processes, refrigerated transport, customer service, and basic refrigeration. As Senior Distribution Manager I oversaw the distribution of multiple sites in Michigan and Wisconsin. Customer service, P&L, and resourse utilization were my main areas of focus. Being a part of a family owned small business as well as a larger organization has allowed me to understand and appreciate two very different approaches to the same industry. There are important values and strategies that I have learned from both and I am comfortable in either setting. Update: April 2020 - I am currently working full time for a trucking company in Okemos, Michigan. I am currently seeking my next long term career opportunity and excited for what lies ahead!
