People want to know that their leader cares about them as human beings, that they want what is best for their coworkers’ and teammates’ health and success, and that they are willing to commit the time, energy, and resources necessary to show up to support those things. My greatest successes at work have always been related to showing up in kind, inclusive, caring, empathetic, and authentic ways for the people, not the product. I am a passionate developer of people first. I bring this focus to bear when solving common or unique problems regardless of the product or practice. I believe in mentoring and coaching as effective components of leadership. I value authentic engagement and practice honest communication.
