About Dave Briskey

I have 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Areas of expertise include construction management, civil engineering and structural engineering for projects including airport facilities, stormwater treatment plants, drainage systems, bridges, roads and highways, tunnels and industrial and manufacturing facilities. I have led Hill team’s work on several major projects for the Allegheny County Airport Authority at Pittsburgh International Airport since 2002. As Senior Project Manager, I oversaw the Hill team, verifying our resources are assigned as-needed to support safe and timely project delivery. Responsibilities include verifying contractor compliance with plans and specifications, supervising on-site inspection personnel, approving materials, preparing project correspondence and maintaining office records. In addition to providing assistance to the designer, I analyze and negotiate change orders, pay requests, cost proposals and time extension requests. I identify cost and/or risk situations, recommends corrective measures and updates the owner on project status and potential cost issues.
