About Dave Carden

For over a decade, I have served on and led the communications team at St. Mark's School of Texas. From capital campaigns and major building projects to the day-to-day needs of campus, I utilize an ever-growing array of tools to craft communications that inform the community, meet organizational needs, and forward the core mission. I have developed a deep well of practical experience using a wide range of equipment to produce content-rich websites and impactful videos that support other teams across campus, such as alumni relations to advancement. I joined St. Mark's in 2011 as a Communications Coordinator and went on to become the Assistant Director of Communications and, now, the Creative Director. Through this journey, I have gained valuable insight into the communications needs of a large and diverse institution. With so many means of communication available, learning when and how to deploy solutions that best fit each project and need has been equally important. Overall, I am a storyteller and problem solver, using my skills and tools to forward the mission of St. Mark's and its community.
