About Dave Clader
I am a researcher and technical leader focused on quantum information and computation. I am most interested in understanding how quantum computing can be useful as well as where the impact may be overstated. I am currently the founder and CEO of BQP Advisors a technical consulting firm that provides technical analysis and advise to clients in quantum comping and related technologies. Prior to founding BQP, I worked at Goldman Sachs where I studied applications of quantum computing to finance; I spent over a decade at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. There I was the group supervisor of the Physics research group and theory lead for quantum information science at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. In addition, I teach a masters level introduction to quantum information science class at the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering.
