About Dave Clark

Planning for success is core to what I do. Without a plan there is nothing to build from. I take my experience, outlined below, from working for some incredible organizations - ones that perform at the top of their game - and translate those experiences into planning and development for new and existing ventures. I have over 30 years of professional experience ranging from non profits to events to destination marketing organizations and award winning world class luxury hotels. I am a professional in business who is dedicated to leading a team aimed at delivering exceptional results over and over, again and again, in the interest of all stakeholders. Designing operational and strategic plans that produce results using out of the box thinking is where I have found success. Successful sport event development and management have come from my past experiences and integral management roles of hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic games in Whistler, BC; planning for and execution of hotel guest services for an NHL All Star Game, APEC Conference, two luxury five star resort hotel openings, as well as the re-alignment of Whistler's resort wide accommodation rating system and partnering in the delivery of festivals and events in our community. Secondly, my wife and I founded a grass roots fundraising organization here in Whistler in 2002. Since then we have raised over for BC Children's Hospital Foundation and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada through successful events such as Whistler Half Marathon, BlueShore Financial Spirit of the Shore Half Marathon, Balding for Dollars, Canadian BBQ Championships, and SWELL to name a few.
