More than thirty-five years of all line's insurance experience including commercial, motor, workers compensation, property/allied lines, energy, consumer / personal lines, group medical & stop-loss, life, reinsurance & captive mgmt. Have held varying regional & global leadership roles & country specific as COO & CEO; responsible for all technical lines of underwriting, claims, TPA Management, reinsurance, IT, HR, product development, facilities, audit, compliance, & risk management with full P&L responsibility on both regional & global basis. Expertise in liability lines, crisis management & product liability. Additionally, lead Starr Technical Services in Loss Angeles for energy related property risk engineering and property risk transfer. History - Began career as Trainee in distribution & marketing with AEtna Casualty & Surety with underwriting responsibilities promoting P&C, & personal lines products to independent agents & national brokers. Included the AEtna one year all lines underwriting training at Niles/AEtna Institute. Continuously graduated throughout career increasing responsibilities, adding additional coverages / size of risks to eventually manage captive business on fortune 100 accounts. USA experience includes responsibility for all of USA & Mexico. Concentration on the US west coast between San Diego, Anchorage, Honolulu and Denver. For a short time was Global Head responsible for all teams around the globe. Half of my career included multiple continent assignments with regional responsibilities for Asia, South Korea, the Far East-Japan, Southern Asia including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) including Russia, Central & Eastern Europe, the Nordics, the Baltics & all of the Middle East including Africa and Turkey. Overall, l have been responsible for personnel and P&L's in 79 countries.
